1. Introduction

Veracity Supply Chain Limited (“Veracity”, “we”, “us”, “our”) is a technology-driven logistics company headquartered in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. We provide container cargo movement, bulk cargo transportation, port and ICD connectivity, CFS integration, intercarting and fleet management services, supported by our own operations technology.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, store and protect personal data when you visit https://veracitysupplychainltd.com/ (the “Website”), request a quote, contact us, or deal with us as a customer, transporter, fleet partner or driver.

We process personal data in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”), the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it, and other applicable Indian laws. By using the Website or submitting your information, you acknowledge this Policy. Where the law requires your consent, we will ask for it clearly and separately.

3. Information We Collect

3.1 Information you provide to us

  • Your name, company name, email address and phone number
  • Shipment details: service required, origin location, destination or corridor, cargo type, and approximate volume or frequency
  • Any other information you include in messages, emails or calls to our operations team

3.2 Information collected automatically

3.3 Operational data from our services and platforms

If you are a customer, transporter or driver, we also process the data needed to run shipments and operations, such as:

  • Identity and contact details of drivers and fleet owners, driving licence and vehicle registration details, and onboarding and compliance records
  • Indent, trip and duty-hour records, rostering data, and earnings summaries
  • Live trip status, ETA and location data during active duty (see Section 4)
  • Shipment documents, proof of delivery (POD) uploads, container and consignment details, and consignee contact details

3.4 Sensitive information and children

The Website is not designed to collect sensitive personal data, and we ask that you do not submit it through the contact forms. The Website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data of anyone under 18 through it.

4. Our Products and Platforms

Our operations are supported by in-house technology, including the Driver Indent Automatic Allocation System and the Veracity Driver’s App. These platforms are used by our operations teams, customers and drivers, and they process data differently from the public Website.

  • Allocation system: assigns indents to drivers by ranking factors such as availability, proximity, duty hours and compliance. For this we process driver availability, location, duty-hour and compliance data.
  • Driver’s App: lets drivers receive, accept and complete indents, share live status, upload documents and PODs, and view duty hours and earnings. Location and device data are used while a driver is on duty to allocate work, show ETAs, monitor SLAs and support safety and security. [Confirm: location is not collected when the driver is off duty.]
  • Dashboards and SLA reporting: customers may receive live operational dashboards and SLA reports that show trip, vehicle and driver information relevant to their shipments.

Where an app or platform shows its own in-app notice or permission request, that notice applies together with this Policy.

5. How We Use Your Information
